Beware a new confusing website

A new Ruperra website has appeared with many pictures and plans about the future of the castle and the site, which seem to be very similar to those of Ruperra Castle Preservation Trust and could be easily confused with the Trust's  websites and plans.

The trustees of Ruperra Castle Preservation Trust would like to stress that this new website has no connection with ourselves as a charitable trust. It appears to have been produced by the owner of the castle site who has continued to neglect it since its purchase in 1998.  

While we welcome the sentiments expressed in the new website regarding repair and restoration of the site, we believe that it may be just a tactic to stave off action by Caerphilly County Borough Council as a planning authority or by the Welsh Government.
