Appeal against the Planning Refusal has been submitted
The owner of Ruperra Castle whose application for housing at Ruperra Castle was rejected by the Planning Committee of Councillors at Caerphilly County Borough Council, submitted an appeal against the decision on Monday 23 June. 2008
At present he has applied for a 'hearing' which would mean a Public Inspector led discusion. This is more complicated than a written representation case but not as formal as a public inquiry with cross questioning of wirnesses by barristers.
The Planning Inspectorate is currently looking at the documents relating to the case. They will decide whether it will be upgraded to a full public inquiry.
